Na noite de ontem, dia 28, aconteceu no Madison Square Garden, em Nova York, a premiação do Video Music Awards, da MTV. A cerimônia, que também foi transmitida para o mundo todo pelo próprio canal de TV, contou com performances musicais ao vivo de Beyoncé, Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Rihanna e outras mais.
Além disso, foram entregues as premiações relacionadas à produção de videoclipes da música norte americana – e a grande vencedora da noite foi Beyoncé, que levou oito estatuetas para casa, o que fez dela a artista com maior número de VMA’s da história: são 24, contra as 20 de Madonna, antiga detentora do recorde.
