Aconteceu na noite de ontem, dia 18, a cerimônia principal de entrega dos prêmios da Academia de Artes e Ciências Televisivas dos EUA, o Primetime Emmy Awards, que consagrou Game Of Thrones como a série mais premiada de sua história: com as três estatuetas recebidas, dentre as quais a de Melhor Série Dramática, agora são 38 no total, deixando pra trás a comédia Frasier, antiga detentora do título, com 37 prêmios – muito embora a maior vencedora da noite tenha sido American Crime History, que recebeu cinco Emmy.
Vale destacar aqui algumas das principais premiações/surpresas da noite. Dois dos mais cobiçados prêmios, os de Ator e Atriz em Séries Dramáticas, ficaram com estreantes: Rami Malek, por sua atuação como Elliot em Mr. Robot, e Tatiana Maslany, por suas múltiplas atuações em Orphan Black. Dentre as comédias, Veep se destacou como Melhor Série Cômica, além de premiar novamente Julia Louis-Dreyfus como melhor atriz do segmento.
